1. Coordinate empty container repositioning based on port shipment demand forecasts and review the reasonableness of repositioning costs;
2. Monitor the status of loaded containers in transit, issue alerts for overdue detention, and coordinate with cargo owners/trucking companies to expedite pick-up;
3. Inspect containers in accordance with IICL standards, distinguish between serviceable and damaged units, record in the system, and take photos of damaged containers as evidence;
4. Plan the layout of container yard blocks, and daily verify system inventory against actual physical counts;
5. Ensure timely transportation, minimize logistics costs, match vehicles with cargo priorities, and handle emergencies such as port congestion and container damage;
6. Analyze monthly fluctuations in trucking and storage charges, and develop cost reduction plans.
1. Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 3 years of experience in container management;
2. Possess certain skills in risk assessment, decision-making, and cost control;
3. Familiar with demurrage calculation rules at major global ports, knowledgeable about fluctuations in the container leasing market, and capable of calculating container turnover indicators (e.g., demurrage charge logic) and container depreciation models.
